Preston Warren you are only 24 and producing amazing art like this, the one on the floor looked like peoples heads in the black then colour and unity, and in the display cabinet like WOW!!! It's like red earth of Australia and sunset colours and bent boomerangs! 😃 it captures Australia with the colors and like generations of people, like a family tree that grows and grows. Anyone in the world would absolutely love painting in their home, but being a proud Adelaide born and bred girl, I hope it stays in Australia where it belongs 😁

Now After 63 years, the boomerang has been returned.
The object was handed over to Maralinga Tjarutja, a corporation representing the traditional Anangu owners, during a recent ceremony.
Chairman Jeremy LeBois said he welcomed the gesture.
"That's the first time someone like Roy has returned something back to the community, which is a great thing," Mr LeBois said.
"I said, 'I'll be happy to take it back and we will cherish it and look after it'.
"Everyone was happy to see something given back that has travelled the world, that's been all over the place and then it has returned."

Awesome, I used to have an authentic boomerang and sticks that were etched with black burnt designs, my Uncle Tony lived in Alice, but he and my Dad were born in Glenelg and then lived in Port Lincoln for years, used to love going there on family car trips around tunarama time, great town, and Coffin Bay rolling down the sand hills with my twin sister Karen, swimming, love the beach😁

🦘 Michele from NSW got in touch with me because she wanted an Indigenous tattoo design to signify a Welcome Home to her family. They have been in Australia for 8 years now and have just now become Australian citizens. Their little girl was adopted and Michele said it’s like they've all found each other and all roads lead to home (Australia).
