This artwork illustrates how Aboriginal people utilise the stars in the night sky for navigation. In the scorching summer days, the heat makes it too dangerous to journey on foot to long distances places. Aboriginal people wisely rest in the shade during the daytime and venture out at night when it’s cooler and darker. They skillfully navigate using the stars as their guiding system, allowing them to travel safely and efficiently. This art piece captures the wisdom and harmony with nature in their traditional ways of movement.

MaterialsCanvas I only paint on the highest quality double primed 100% cotton fine art canvas.
Paints I use either Jonsonja or Mattisse matte flow acrylic paint for all of my artworks.
All artworks are acrylic on canvas sheets unless otherwise stated.
Items marked 'Acrylic on stretched canvas' do not require framing and are shipped ready to be hung.
Care InstructionsDo not expose paintings or prints to direct sunlight.
Display your art in a cool, dry place.
Gently clean your canvases with a soft, damp cloth.
Avoid using household chemical cleaners, as they can damage the artwork.
Wrap your prints in acid-free archival paper before storing or transporting them.
Never stack multiple paintings against each other.
FramingMost of my artworks are on unstretched canvas sheets unless otherwise marked. We recommend having your artwork stretched and hung within a frame of your choice upon arrival to avoid damage in transit.
