Description.

This artwork, commissioned by a coastal family, beautifully embodies the love and connection shared by Rebecca, her husband, their 9 children, and 17 grandchildren. Painted in calming shades of blue, the oceanic tones reflect the family’s coastal life, with shimmering metallic blue sea animals bringing the canvas to life as the light shifts throughout the room. At the heart of the painting, traditional U-shaped symbols depict the entire family, the grandchildren sitting together in the 4 outer symbols and Rebecca, her husband and their 9 children sitting together around a campfire in the centre, with journey lines connecting everyone and representing their enduring bond. A reminder of their shared journey, anchored by love, unity, and the ever-present ocean.

MaterialsCanvas I only paint on the highest quality double primed 100% cotton fine art canvas.
Paints I use either Jonsonja or Mattisse matte flow acrylic paint for all of my artworks.
All artworks are acrylic on canvas sheets unless otherwise stated.
Items marked 'Acrylic on stretched canvas' do not require framing and are shipped ready to be hung.
Care InstructionsDo not expose paintings or prints to direct sunlight.
Display your art in a cool, dry place.
Gently clean your canvases with a soft, damp cloth.
Avoid using household chemical cleaners, as they can damage the artwork.
Wrap your prints in acid-free archival paper before storing or transporting them.
Never stack multiple paintings against each other.
FramingMost of my artworks are on unstretched canvas sheets unless otherwise marked. We recommend having your artwork stretched and hung within a frame of your choice upon arrival to avoid damage in transit.
